Summer's End

Well I had a whole nice blog all typed out and ready to post.  It was really interesting.  You guys will never see it because as soon as I hit "post" the wifi went dead.  This is what I have had to deal with and why the forum and webpage don't get updated more often.  This is also why I don't have more current pogo information.  Until I get back on a more stable connection this is the way it is gonna be.  I know some of you think that I have forgotten about you or lost interest in the site, but that is far from the truth.  As a matter of fact, I thought you had forgotten about me.



Summer is just about over and it time to turn our truck southward for the trip back to Florida.  This is always an iffy time for us due to the fall weather conditions.  The plan is to leave here next week, head over to NC and see the Biltmore Castle and the surrounding area.  It's on my bucket list and has been for a while.  Then it's off to Myrtle Beach, SC for a getogether with "The Boys".  Their hair may be gray and the knees creaky but the brothers will always be boys at heart.

After that the agenda is not set.  As my friend from Orlando calls them, the whirly-derby's have been pretty active and the last thing we want to do is bring an rv right into an active area.  We have discussed maybe doing some looking around Georgia and visiting some areas we neglected the last time.
